Got out for 2 hours this morning and 1 hour this afternoon. Same site still a lot of targets. Don't know how old the toy is, but looks real old. Very worn copper back is smooth, but almost looks like double bust? Good luck to all. Art

Wow, your coin is in fact double busted. That is 1600's! It is a William and Mary copper. Nice find!! Wish you could get a date off of it. Be nice to see the year and it is most likely 1690's.

Wow, your soldier has me stumped. He is not in my reference books. It appears that he was originally 60-70 mm in height. This is large for European makers. He appears to be in the fashion of a late 1700's French officer, with an exquisite, plumed bicorne hat and his right hand resting on the pommel of a nice sword. He may have been a large chess piece. Several American soldier makers produced colonial soldiers during the 1930's-50's, but I saw none in this particular pose. Sorry I cannot help further. Great hunt and lots of nice goodies! Sub 8-)
