These are all tips that appear to be re-based. I don't see a lot of them, but I think they are really cool.

Quito - neat finds. Always neat to find pieces that have a story to tell. Rebased points, retipped points, reworked tools are all interesting finds.

And the modern day tree hugger thought they were the first to recycle.

good lookin' stuff quito.

very nice pieces Quito. I like the material they are made of.

Some of those look like Jacks Reef

yup joel
twitko and me find those
we found several last summer
they are all KRF like yours are

Makes you wonder, If the more recent indians found those older points, broken or not. Would they have picked them up and reused
them. Or even modified them to their own style and design.

Lol!! Off topic a bit, but I have an article about Native American people leaving a carbon footprint, as Mr. Gore calls it.

Not being a smarty pants on this, but, why not? I have trouble using obsolete computers. I would have to take my find and rework it into something that I understood. Out with the old in with the new sort of thing. I hope this comes across as I mean for it to.

Salvaging played a big part in their way of life, everywhere. It's seen far more frequently in areas that don't have abundant or good quality materials to work with. Waste not, want not.
