3 rings I've recently found:
Left to right:
The first is a silver ring with a heart-shaped stone. A jeweler told me it's sterling silver, but it has no marking inside. I'm guessing the stone is cubic zirconia. It was found on a school playground.
The 2nd one is old and worn. The band almost looks copper--it's brown...maybe oxidized. The stone is blue. It looks like a kids ring.
The 3rd one got me excited when I first saw it. The band looks like an old wedding band, and the stone is a nice yellowish-orange oval shape. The jeweler told me the band is sterling silver, and the mark on it is too faded to read. It was found about 2-3 inches down near a park by a lake. I had hunted the playground area and was walking back to the car when the detector hit it. I found several coins in the area. I'll be heading back there soon.
Still waiting for that first gold ring.
