Went on a dig today with Hunthicks. The Patriot was not in attendance as he had family business to attend. Was a cool 40 degree's but the sun was shinning and no snow, although the first place we tried had frozen ground. HH did score a large copper almost breaking his shovel. ;D

We hit the woods further down the road and found a few old basements with trees growing out of them.
I hit an 1843 New Brunswick Penny and 3 bells and a hammer :-\ It was rough going. Was just nice to get out for a few hours. Enjoy the photo's.......cheers :coffee2:

The F5 has been great, I seem to come away with all the finds I want, so I'm pretty happy with it. I've been surprised at the depth it gets, and I don't think I leave a whole lot more out there then a more expensive machine. It likes iron a lot, but I guess that can be a good thing at times!
