Remarkable Game Stones...or...

Found in Cayuga County NY, near the Seneca River, these two stones are polished to a remarkably smooth finish; exhibit a beautiful depth of color and appealing symmetry. They're not discoidals, not quite 'biscuits', and not natural, in my opinion.

I am assuming they are a type of 'Game Stone.' Any opinions are welcomed!

Uniface - I can tell you that they're unusually heavy. Next time I visit the owner I'll determine their density; we'll know if they are hematite.
