Remember when you were young

Hello, mental granny,
You have met some good ones. I like all those old western moveis too. The ones made in the 40's, 50's and 60's. I met Tex Ritter twice. He was about 6' 6" or 6'7". A very big man. Also met Rex Allen jr. If I remember
right, Rex Allen's horse was Koko in the moveis.

These posts got me all nostalgic about my old favourites
A few of my early memories of Film; Heroes and Heroines, and a lusted-after Hayley Mills, I must have been all of ten years old when I fell in Love with :icon_queen: Her :icon_queen:

The Guns of Navarone; it made a big impression on a young impressionable kid.

Tarzan; did anyone ever do that dive better than Johnny? Over time, I still haven't managed to perfect that 'yodel' as I swing on a vine through a jungle.

Ha!

Great pic of St Preston and Yukon King of the RCMP! ;D
That's gotta be a classic!

Yep, Johnny Weismuller was the bestest!
I can hear him now!

Somehow, I think that is better than Zombie Strippers.

A classic beauty, when I was little I wanted to grow up like some of those ladies! Too bad it didn't happen that way!

Remember these of course

Remember in the 40's/50's an old radio show that started with..."These are the times that try mens souls" It may have been Inner Sancdom but I'm not sure. Anyway, what a fitting phrase for these days.

Could be I know Ive that before I was trying to remember the starting lines of The Shadow Knows

What evil lurks in the heart of men ....
