Brought a Tear to my Eye

[opalboy]

Ah yes, short shorts!
And on the girls too! 😆

[ToddsPoint]

I got out of HS in ‘72. I’m lucky I survived the 70s and didn’t end up in jail. My future wife rescued me from myself in ‘80. Still together and it’s been great.👍🏻

[jeff of pa]

got out in '73 ! awesome decade , Closest thing to Real Freedom. don't regret a second of it.

Except for the Hazing, Which may be a California or Hollywood Thing
The Movie Dazed and Confused Was Extremely Accurate
For '73
Parties , Even in Cars. Keggers , Girls !

[Mackaydon]

For those still alive and from one who has not totally lost his memory...
I'd vote for the '50s.

50's were good I got started in the 40's

[newnan man]

I was a teenager in the 70's. I got my drivers license in 71. Great times, no damn cell phones, cheap gas, fast cars, mini skirts, running the woods.

[FreeBirdTim]

Two words, drunk streaking. NOT a good idea, especially if you fall on pavement!

[jeff of pa]

heck of a place for a cast and sling

[Tony in SC]

In the 60's I wasn't the coolest guy in town, my best friend was!! Never a problem getting a date for the drive in!

in the 70's even 80's I Never had a Problem with Girls,
However I was Very picky, I snobbed a Few Over Weight
girls off I also Saw Ugly , Plain & Gorgeous in Girls Looks
And Ignored the Ugly, & paid attention to the Gorgeous.
{Gorgeous girls were more Needy, Most Guys I Knew seemd to Avoid them}
Now I Feel a Little ashamed for it, but since it was so long ago,
only a little ashamed.

These days I Don't see Ugly , Plain & Gorgeous as much.
mainly if they look like girls wanting to be boys I see FUgly.

I Only had one girl in my life Who I Can say I Truly Love.
Though She's Gone now , I Never wanted to Marry Her
& Become a slave

[rginn]

You wore a mini skirt newnan man? jhahaha!

[rginn]

Yep me in the 70's and my first girlfriend, first girl I ever kissed and prettiest girl in the whole school who dumped me for whatever reason I still can't figure out.

heck of a place for a cast and sling

I understand the sling, but do tell about how a cast is required?

[Tony in SC]
