It wouldn't do any good to tear up my street, it was a corn field 20 years ago. Also I don't believe I ever saw house numbers that high before, 10,000 may be the highest I ever.

Yes, they ripped deep..... and filled lots. The areas they tamped down were off limits. I found 7 zincolns and one clad dime. RATS. TTC

Yes!! If it was a a freeway in some states...You would have 15 years to detect it! I'm thinking of OH. Every time I go home seems like they have the same roads tore up from 10 years ago!!!

i LOVE those construction sites! I posted here, years ago, that over the course of a summer, I found 28 wheats, 4 silver dimes, one silver quarter, and a Buff nickel (1922) on the sw corner of a place in Milwaukee. I only found one zincoln. They pushed all the topsoil to the rear for EPA Regs. THAT is what put me closer to the good stuff! I will alwYs hit those kind of spots when allowed. TTC
