REV WAR 57th REGIMENT PEWTER PLATE & 18 POUNDER CANNONBALL

The H.Jones is clear:thumbsup:

(looks like a .57)

More great pieces of history, I hope you keep a good record, this is valueable information:headbang:

Fantastic piece of History, The Mans Name, The Regiment he served with and a ball park time frame.
What do you think the chances are of finding his Descendents would be.
Great Find.
Happy Hunting

Wow. Yes, I hope you are able to preserve these items (I'm thinking about the wood ones, especially). The J was often written as an I back then.

Cheers,

That 18 pounder is nice, but that plate is exceptional! You are amassing quite a collection of amazing relics.

I notice a Tudor Rose with a crown above it on that plate. How cool is that!!
