Hello to all,

It's been a bit of time since I last posted. Anyway, went to my local bank which just changed hands recently but kept their coin counting machines. I walked in to cash in my mason jar of change for some extra x-mas money. Nearing the end of my cash-in the machine stopped because one of the coin bags was full and in need of changing. So, the attendant came over, opened the unit up and pulled out the cart containing the bags. I happened to notice a little depression next to the counting chute filled with several coins, some odd and one looking very familiar. I inquired about them and was told that they are "foreign" coins that wouldn't "work" in the counter. I asked if it was OK if I could have them, she said yes and without hesitation I quickly slipped them into my pocket.

After leaving, I had a coin from columbia, mexico, the netherlands, dominican republic, and oh yea a '45 Merc!
Anyway,
More treasure for me,
mikesand
