Hi all,
I had some time late this afternoon to fight the heat and mosquitos and came up with a few more things from a few neighborhood yards I had checked earlier this summer..as you can see, I missed a few good targets.
The Rosie is a 1956-D and the wheat is a 1946-P. I also found a 1980 Canadian cent, a bullet casing (7mm Remington magnum) an old key, a big round piece of aluminum (that I thought was a coin at first), and my 44th ring of the year, another silver one!
The ring is very strange looking..it looks quite old and resembles an orchid or lily flower. The letters ST and part of the E are visible inside the band and the rest is worn smooth, so I'm quite sure it's part of the word STERLING.
