Ring and a lead soldier!

My heart skipped a beat for a sec when I saw this ring. I think it's plated Silver. No marks on the inside other than a makers stamp . I'll try to test it tomorrow. Did score a 1908 V Nickel and 8 Wheats plus a veteran's pin. Thanks for looking and
