Rings #145, #146 & #147 and $1,000.00 in clad this year !

[pl8man]

Well the rain finally stopped here in California so I got out for two hunts this weekend . Yesterday my son Carson and I hunted a elementary school that I had hunted a few years ago . We found a good amount of clad and I found three rings ! One is a beauty ! It's 925 silver with 18K gold on each side of the pink stone ! It has two stamps on it , 925 & 750 . These rings bring my total for the year to #147 , #150 is getting close . Today we found only clad but that was OK because it brings my clad total for the year to over $1,000.00 !!!! This the 6th year in a row that I have found over $1,000.00 . With the clad found the last two days I'm at $1,002.49 for 2014 with half the month to go .

Congrats on your totals. Both are extremely impressive and you had the joy of doing a lot 0f it with your son which makes it even better.

That ring is a beauty. Nice work, Glen- and I agree- over $1K in clad in 12 months is very impressive. Here's hoping ring #150 is GOLD!

Congratulations on reaching $1000 in coins found this year Glen!
I have no doubt that you'll reach 150 rings for the year... I'd certainly be very happy if I found a ring like that one!

That is even more impressive. I was thinking you were retired and hunted every day. Congrats on a great year.

You can buy a lot of beer for us when you hit that 150th ring. We will gladly help you celebrate. Awesome job.

Those are both awesome totals. Big congrats! I think I have 22-25 rings in four years of hunting.

Tip of the hat to you. Im very impressed by your numbers alone. Makes my 225 this year seem like chump change. I don't know where I could go to get that kind of loot numbers. Keep it up!

[park pirate]

Man thats a lot of rings outstanding...

[RobRieman]

Impressive as always pl8! You have any idea on the value of the rings so far this year? You could buy a new 3030 on your profits every year. Lol

[treblehunter]

You must dig five holes to my one, you have to be a very fast digger. My total for clad last year was 360.00 of course I know our sites have been totally different. Congrats on being able to hunt with your son like that, finding rings is always exciting. Some day I will target sites like you guys do, especially now that my son is hunting with me. Ha, I must hunt at least 14 hrs every week, but I already know I'm a very slow digger compared to others.
