Water hunt today netted 3 sterling silver rings, two watches, an ear ring, sunglasses, a nice shovel, and some clad. Silver turns dark in lakes, notice the before and after cleaning of the 3 rings.

Sterling silver in a lake gets dark fast, and can have a black crust after many years. Even the silver coins I found recently were real black. I use electrolosis, then baking soda and they come out nice.
She hasn't seen it yet, as she is up in your neighborhood at camp for a week. She will like it though! :)

So very cool, Nice Rings Congrats!

Good luck,
HH.
