Saxon Brooch Catch plate 6th Century...

Found this catch plate but don't know where or what to it belongs. Not Roman I think, maybe Saxon..
Anyone know something about it?

Agreed, Saxon. I will check a couple of books.
 
Small-long brooch - 6th C.

The two projecting pieces resent birds heads.
