The finds from this point on will slow up as we start to grid further away from the main scatter. As we have time on our hands we are going to do a large area grid behind the main site into no-mans land. It's area that has very few coins but the odd Brooch & if we are lucky we may get a good find like a Celtic Coin or a Hammered.
Managed 4 hours 45 mins:

4 Scrappies
1st C Aucissa derivative Fibula (Brooch)
Medieval Thimble
Top of a James I Lead Cloth Seal
Bezel of a Roman Childs Ring
Bit of A Celtic Fibula (Childs)
Mystery Broken Roman Hook Fitment
Bits...

Nice Aucissa Fibula, i don't see them often because most of our sites are younger. Another proof the metal working site has seen military activity.... :icon_thumleft:

You're in a different category from us North Americans. Your sites have a so much older human occupation that left metal artifacts. I really like to see your finds, thank you. Very clear photography.
