Rookie starting up in Western WA

Hello my name is Luke and am excited to get started in this hobby. I live in Tacoma, WA and I have alot of questions and I have been looking into joining a local club however there are many too choose from... Anybody have any feedback on which one I should chose or should I look into all of them?? A quick search showed a few GPAA, Washington Prospectors Mining Asso., and Bedrock prospectors ...
