Im new to detecting and found these yesterday all in the same spot the cross is silver with the marking mh sterling i cANT find anywhere where on the web where it gives a date to when the cross was made does anyone know?

Jewelry can be pretty tough to date, The token should be dateable though. There are many token books out there. Nice finds!

Good find on the cross. Very cool.
 

Looks to me like the dime is a 1954, silver for sure. Nice Finds!
 

Im using a fisher 250 is what im using and im in central pa went back there yesterday got this barber dime and another silver

Good stuff. The design on the cross has been around for at least fifty years so dating it is going to be impossible.

The token is listed in Aqua's Pennsylvania Trade Tokens book as Altoona #AD - Gesang Verein / Altoona / Frohsinn. German singing/social/recreation/athletic societies (Veriens) were popular all over the country prior to WWI, at which time they pretty much disappeared.
