I'm certain it's a rosette but what is the old English letter "T" for? Is it a family monogram or is it military or something else? Anyone ever find a rosette like this?

Family or company (stable) name. See my glass domed rosette posted a few weeks ago--it's got a Gothic letter "V" under the glass.

Erik is correct... I've dug similar style ones before and found out the same info.
