Rouelles (promonetar) | Coin Details

After a small detection, i found many interesting stuff, my attention wasd directed to a single nice object.
As i knew the guy from museum likes bronze objects and he like what i found,
Without knowing what is it, i asked him what is the object, after his appointed .... he said it's a promonetar ( Rouelles ) ... is an object that was used before coin for trade.
The object came into possession of the museum across my town.
Do you think it is something else?

No, I agree that it is ancient Celtic proto currency, and a nice one too because many were plain, not fancy rings like that. They also made ones that looked like 3-bladed propellers which are quite striking. The Greeks made cast bronze currency in the shape of dolphins as a medium of exchange too, for example, so there are many interesting non-planchet ancient "coins" to be found. Great discovery, thanks for sharing!
