Food and guest speaker for day 1 his talk was excellent and his displays were great but, no one tried his hard tack !

Day 2 and the kids hunt the little guy won an ACE 150 I think he is maybe 18 months old ...

The house on the hill above the hunt field .... the hunting after the hunt was over they allow you to go back out after everything is done, if you help clean up so I got to go out and hunt then!

Thats up to Jeff ! I didn't hunt but, in a raffle I won gold nuggets! The hunting I got to do when it was over I found some cartridges but they were new from I think when they had a reenactment ( in one fields I think they have reenactments of the hunting buffalo) ! It was an arena a large one very large but that was just one field all the fields were very clean except the big coin hunt but it was only trashy way over to one edge.

Howdy Folks!
I was another hunter at the Rush to the Rockies. It was my very first competition
hunt, and as of this week, I've been detecting for 2 years now. My first unit was
a White's XLT, then I added an MXT and recently sold some of the gold I've found
to purchase the new Spectra V3 detector.

Metal Granny was at the hunt, and I recall seeing her there, along with the gentleman
who accompanied her.

As you folks seem to enjoy photos, I'd surely like to share a few of my own with ya'll!

My home is in Aurora, Colorado, and we drove home and back for each day of the hunt.
It was an exciting experience for me, and I was apprehensive on the first day. Figure that
cost me dear and I should have been much more confident in myself and the skills I've
developed in 2 years of tecting! On day 2, I was back to my normal level of confidence
and did much better.

My take was:
7 gold nuggets,
1 Peace Dollar,
1 Silver Round, 1 Troy Ounce of .999 pure silver.
74 Silver Rosie dimes
24 Wheat Pennies,
19 Mercury Dimes,
5 Walking Liberties,
1 Barber Half Dollar,
1 1907 V Nickel.

Love theses pics! You did really well with your finds! I guess you didn't find a WHITE Bufflo either, that is a very cool hunt they do it every year. I love the shot of the little boy with his grandpa he won one of the 2 detectors they had as kids prizes he was sooo funny while he was detecting, he'd find one then he'd show it to everyone then throw it down and go the the next one!

Oh and the (gentleman) who ws with me that is my husband Stoney56 on here (Jeff).
