i went out for a few hours this morning
after about an hour russy came to join us
sure enough in an hour he had more goodies than anyone
he found complete bird bone fish hook
next he found something rare
it is the piece of elk antler that is the piece left after the antler was split into narrow strips for making bracelet blanks
these triangle pieces were sometimes turned into long awls or perforating tools as this one was
i found the pottery pieces and the little KRF scraper and the spoke shave.....
.but russel did the best once again

yup they caught walleye, sauger, lots of channel catfish with those bone hooks and a round little sandstone sinker tie about a foot above.....the kind people tell me were bola weights
