School Recreation Area Hunt

Found out that like 3 minutes from our new house, an old school recreation area is located, hidden behind houses. The area was used by a school, which once was located right across the street of the recreation area. The fences used for baseball are still up, Rusty and rotten. The school was demolished and houses are now build on the old school property. The recreation area is still intact. It is owned by the city and nobody but the locals are using it for walking their dogs. The school was build in 1957 and demolished in 1999. Went out tonight for about an hour or so and collected a key, 14 coins, and some scrap metal. Oldest coin was a 1973... i am a little dissapointed, was hoping for older coins Maybe next time, still have a lot of ground to cover over there.................

Every hunt is a good one...don't you know when you find a Key..you think..wasn't that one po'd person when they got back home and couldn't find their key..lol Keep at it...If folks used that place then the finds are there. HH

Yes i did, it was fun, absolutely, the newest coin was a 2006
