An hour ago I was out in my friend's field, where a month ago I had found a musket ball and Seated half dime. Today I doubled up with two musket balls and a Seated dime. Not in good shape since there has been a lot of chemical spray and fertilizer used over the years. The date is 1854 and the bright silver color on the back is the result of a close encounter with my digger! Bad boy!! Thanks for looking. Lloyd

Seated coins and musketballs, what's next out of that field?

Gotta love the old silver!! Musket balls dont hold any value but they are one item that I like to see come from the dirt.
