Seated Liberty, Indians, and Wheats on Labor Day!

Took the Trusty Equinox 800 for a walk at a Church established in the late 1800's. I was happily surprised by what I found, because I was certain this ground had been hunted before. I think I'll go back and keep on scratching in the dirt. Currently we're enjoying a couple days of much needed rain, which hopefully will make the hunting even better. It's too bad the Seated Liberty is so badly stained. First silver i've found that's so stained. What causes this staining anyway? Can it be removed without damaging the coin?

Some very nice finds there! I'm jealous of your seated dime. The last time I found a seated anything was over a year ago. The IHP's appear to be in great shape too. Congrats.

You can toss the seated in some lemon juice for a few minutes , should take care of the staining . Nice site !

What a great hunt! Those coins came out looking nice. I wouldn't sweat the toning. I like it! Gives it character
