Second hunt , same site large coppers !
1-26-12 Hi TN th 'ers
near 50 degrees
This Jan. the weather has been mild and no frozen ground .
Somewhere down the road I am sure we'll pay. Three hours the pounded out cellar hole gave up two more coppers and a few buttons , a good day for sure . 1807 & 1787 KG III First hunt at the same site two coppers and a bust dime . This place has been picked over . I have been taking my time , moderate overlapping sweeps . Seems like it never fails to get some deep coins. KG III was found first . An hour later I found the draped bust {not found in the same hole} . The one picture is misleading
sorry . Check out the very old , very huge oak , that fell into the hole . The roots on it are incredible but it still was blown over many years ago . Last pic is from last week , same cellar hole . Two hunts = 4 coppers for January ... for Jan.
at this time last year there was snow here
. Thanks for stopping in , Best 2012 Hunting , dawg
