second ring find

hello all,found my second ring yesterday at a school playground in VA.also some clad.then hunted an old carrot farm last night for about 30 minutes and found an old lock.the farm was in florence SC.the ring is 10 kt.not worth much but it is gold and that is what matters most.the lock says sea bag on the front and auto lock on the back,anyone know anything about this.HH

Nice gold ring. It might be a lock for a Navy seabag. PBK is an expert on ID'ing things and in my opinion locks are one of his specialties. I hope you don't mind me doctoring up your photos a little.

thanks for doctoring up my photos,dont mind at all.yes i am pleased with the ring.i am not too good at posting pics,my digital cam is a truck stop black market special so the pics are not the best but the detail on the ring is very intricate,almost looks like a dream catcher design in the hearts.the lock was about 20 carrots,at least that was the amount i had to dig up to get to it .they were all baby carrots and i washed them off and now they are in the crock pot cooking with some corn,rice,and green beans,witth a beef gravy mix take care all.
