Old lipstick case ( unopened and heavy )
and a bunch'o nails
Also found this very large cast iron what looks to be a door plate or at least that's what Google lens is telling me. Can't wait to get back on Sunday

Congrats on the IHP. My first was a 1901.
I’m unsure about the door plate. I can see it from the front photo, but the back photo looks wrong for a door plate.

Love the IHP. Agree that the iron thing is not a door plate. I don't know what it is, but it does not look like any part of a door I've ever seen.

The house was built by a guy who had a mercantile store right across the street the family who had it after that had a dairy farm right there up until the late 1970s
