Heres a good one for you DYI guys we are rebuilding an old wilfley style shaker table, will have a story with more pics over at my site.
any of you guys have any expirance using one of these old guys i would like to hear about it.
main reason for starting this thread was to get some ideas on the building of the main deck, and the riffle set up, what they can be made from how high, what to use to water proof as top is made from wood.

It will be 4x8 plywood to start, this is as far as ive got on the design so maybe i can pick up some good ideas here, remember the gold i deal with passes through the 40 mesh.
need ideas on riffle design and what to cover top with,
remember im a poor miner so i cant afford the top shelf, but i dont want to skimp on product it has to last as i have a fair pile to mill so this with any luck will be our production finishing/concentrating unit.
Lets have some ideas.

Just go with the standard Wilfley riffle set up. The basic table is just fiberglass over plywood.
