She ain’t in the best of shape but she is pretty to me!

Went out hunting to some old locations yesterday. Had been a long day and the sun was going down at our last stop. We had been there for about 20 minutes when i got a loud steady 33 on my 800. Went down about 5 or 6 inches and pulled out my first silver half and my oldest US coin so far.A 1917 Liberty half. She has seen some ware but has a good date. This is my best find in a while. Wound up with about 75 coins total. thanks for looking and good hunting.

Coil she is AMAZING!!!! Nothing sounds sweeter than that silver half. I wear my only silver half 1900 Barber bezeled around my neck. Congratulations!!!!!!

Walking Libs are a beautiful coin. Congrats on your first. My first Half was a 1916 Walker, in a little worse shape than yours. Found it 25 years ago, and I can remember it like it was yesterday. As long as there is some detail left and a date, in my opinion its a great looking coin and yours qualifies !
