Sherry if you come back from Vegas a little short no worries. A prospector is great but you can get gold here with a sniper or a supermini. I am using my supermini exclusively lately due to it's weight and ease of setup. It catches plenty of gold. If you contact Todd and Chris you can probably go to the factory to pick yours up.

Thumbs up to the bazooka gold trap!!! I thought my cal sluice was good.. Boy did I have it backwards.... I'm going to set them both up "long tom" tomorrow, gotta see if either looses gold. They probably won't lose any gold ... But I gotta try.!

I think I got three or four pieces off the bedrock that day. Right after a high water event. If you magnify the picture you will see another piece in the sand up near the white thing. i don't remember picking that one up.

Yea no beard for me... My husband wouldn't allow it on me, can't say that I blame him though! ;-)

I got a free farmer john wetsuit, hood, booties and regulator setup the other day. SCORE! We may try sniping with snorkels when we go to the American River during Thanksgiving week. Hopefully I'll get the chance to snipe or dredge using a hooka one day!
