April 21th - April 27th Coin Hunting Results

Decent box of nickels, another state counterstamp, 'new' oldest Canadian penny, and my first silver half. Now if only every week were like this.
I did lose the data for box #126. Finished the box, entered the data, put the coins away. Went back to the computer to save the text file and a different program caused the computer to shutdown. Data re-entered is a guess, but should be reasonably accurate.

Respectably above-average week, especially for nickels. I was actually betting on a dream box for them after the first few rolls, but then the numbers dropped off dramatically throughout the rest of the box. the last 15-20 rolls didn't have a single pre-1960.

Granted they're all impaired, but there is something special about "rescuing" a coin from circulation that shouldn't be there in the first place.

Maybe.. on the plus side though, you'll get the eight dimes you're missing before I get the... 80something? I'm missing

At current 'rate' I'll probably find the rest of them in another 20 boxes or so, with luck. Then again, there's always that last one or two that end up being 'difficult'.

Currently missing: 1938D, 1938S, 1939D, 1942S, 1943D, 1949S, 1950D. That's only seven, I just found the 1955P today.
