Does anyone have info on recent ship wreck controversy in Keywest fla...Capt. Tom

Capt Dom, I sat in the courtroom in Key West for the emerald trial. Wow!!! You wouldn't believe some of the testimoney from Jay Miscovich and Steve Elchlepp.Boy am I glad I steered a course well away from these guys....
Bob introduced Jay to a friend of mine and me back in 2010.
The funniest part of this whole rats nest is the balls or stupidity the Fisher Group has looking for court costs, when they withdrew from
the action after the other jamoke states the emeralds are something like broken Heniken bottles from Brazil.... Ha, ha...
I think this may come back and bite the motivation group right in the ass....
If Judge King really decides to look into all the dark corners behind
how many folks end up raising money with
the lure of the adventure of the hunt
Who the hell is now representing Jay now?
I see it is a group of WPB attorneys?
Which attorney is Jay alleging wanted him to file
a claim in another country....
Interesting... I think I am going to go down and watch
on the 21st....
All the news pieces speak of is if "former attorneys"....
I wonder why....
Salvor6, It was brought out inn Court Briefs for this case that oil is used to enhance emeralds to make them appear to be worth a lot more then they are. I also think it was mentioned that no honest jeweler enhances any emeralds with oil without telling the buyer.Paint thinner is considered oil since it is a petroleum distillate. The oil penetrates the tiny cracks (inclusions) in the emeralds making them invisible. Emeralds with noticable inclusions are usually boiled in oil to hide the inclusions. This treatment has to be repeated after a few years as the oli evaporates.
