I just finished reading Ship of Gold and I really enjoyed it. Last year I read Sweat of the Sun, Tears of the Moon and I liked that one too. So I'm kinda hooked on these treasure hunting books. Does anyone have any good suggestions on some other good treasure hunting books?
Thanks,
D

One of my favorites is Diving to a Flash of Gold, Martin Meylach. It covers the search and recovery efforts on the 1733 fleet back in the 70's

Oh, you can tell which ones are good. Dave Crooks the author called them the "75 Classics" They include Diving to a Flash of Gold, Treasure Diver's Guide, Pieces of Eight, Sunken Treasure: Six Who found Fortunes, etc. The author used to work for Mel Fisher and knows his stuff. If a book made his top 75 list, it is worth reading.

Must reads if you want true stories of daring-do , persistence, hard work and determination, (but not your normal treasure hunt stories).

The Other Titanic by Simon Martin
Deepwater by Moya Crawford
Treasures of the Armada by Robert Stenuit
Island Treasure by Roland Morris (now re-printed as Sunken Treasure ?)

All great stories of what can be achieved with low budgets and small boats.

All can be found on www.abebooks.com, bookfinders.com or Amazon.

Another great site for books

Heck BVI, you could get that cute little Bottle Nosed dolphin to play you, if he/she is all grown up! At least he/she doesn't Scuba gear to dive. Even with the bald head, he/she has you beat a trillion to one in the cute department!:laughing7:

Woa, thanks for all the leads folks. It's going to be a lot of fun going through these lists.
