Got out to a just cut corn field today in between rain storms 40 degrees for a short time.
I ran the Omega sensitivity 95, ground bal. 52 in all metal high pitch...and the 10" concentric coil and bagged against the rain,Depth Master phones.
First target was about 8 " deep TID 65 a gilt button no back marks so that`s an older one
than another 9" TID 63 small cuff gilt button, an a third 9" TID 80 Gilt Orange....and a small musket ball 11" TID 62.
I got some iron too, then it poured 2 hour hunt time .

Looks great, Gary! Any place with buttons like that are sites I love to hunt. Congrats on your finds!

Thanks Keith
the farmer just picked the corn so the field is still shaggy so i had to pick where i could swing ..he will cut/chop the plants later this week....very good old cabin site in the field.
To muddy to use the new Gray Ghost`s Phones ,but i like them a lot.

Gotta love those flat buttons! Hopefully they'll bush hog that field like they do down here. As for 40 degrees and rain, you can keep that up there! :laughing7: Congrats and keep swinging! P.S. here's the temp. down here today! temp.webp
