short hunt befor the rain

Well i did manage to get in a short hunt for 2 hrs. I went to a old school yard and worked the wood line today and found 3 wheat, 1 Canada one cent, and some clad and a nice 1942 quoter. Man my ACE 150 let out a loud beeeeep and about blew my ear drum. I have never herd it go off like that be for so now i know what to listen for now for silver coins. well i have bough some silver in the past and now i have about 97 gr and a few silver chains and a nice size charm that weigh 9.6 gr. well i will be out some time in the next few day to hit the school yard again when i have more time and hope to add to my silver collection.

here is a cub scout tie cuff i found but dont know the year it is from i looked that thing over but no date any were

That cub scout slide is new... The ones they had in he 60's when I was a kid had no enamel backings in them.

thanks i was not sure because it was down about 10 inch and i found a ax head that was down 13 inch. How do you clean the rust off of it to make it look nice thanks.
