White's SPECTRUM
Okay I've been watching all this Tnet stuff going on this is my first post. I have been detecting for 16 years all my detectors have been whites....Love em! I Live in Utah and there is allot o history here but its hard to find...but here is what I found today starting with Clad- 13 quarters,10 nickles, some Penny's and some dimes.....a cell phone(broken) small silver ring, 1936 quarter, 1945 merc, 1951 roosie. The silver coins were from a pocket spill and to end it all I found this Australlian dollar 2005...Hey I live in Utah I thought it was cool.

Nice finds and welcome to tnet, the friendliest MDing forum you'll ever find. Hope to see future hunts posted.

Hi Great Finds Zeus but you need to back off from the items
when taking pictures and let your camera do its job, if your
camera has MACRO mode use it. When i take photo's i place
them on the kitchen table and stand up & slightly bend over
& photograph my finds.

Please Note: If your useing the flash on your camera
as your light source turn off your over head kitchen
lights and use a light source from the next room to
help you out a little, press the button on your camera
1/2 way down & let it zoom in before you press it all the
way down.

The number #1 reason for FUZZY photos is you did
not go 1/2 way down and let the camera zoom in
correctly, you press the camera button down fully.

Also try to pick out a background that will make the item
your photographing pop out, you can get that foam like
poster board stuff from your local Wal-Mart store in different
colors which works really well.

Here is a Close up i took w/ the lights turn off in
my living room of my cortez i was 6" away from
the control housing when i snapped that photo.

Good digs. I also live here in Utah, so there are a few of us. Lots of fun discussions here. I used to be hooked real bad but now I just take it as it comes. Good luck and Happy Hunting.

High, the Plumber here, I too live here in UTAH great finds were you hunting an old house lot or park? I live up here in Layton and I ocasionally get out to hunt. I have a Bounty Hunter and have happened across a few coins here and there. I havent yet made a big score but want to go out strong box hunting sometime this year, I have a few places in mind, but access is my biggest problem. Keep on diggin' dem holes.
