Silver and gold start to the New Year! 😆

What better way to start the New Year than in a muddy field digging history 😄 xx

We obviously went back to the same field as yesterday looking for that shiny coin Robert eyeballed, alas no coin! So we wandered across the field, following the pottery… lots of Grey ware and iron signals!

Then the magic started… first off I found this lovely Fob Watch medallion, then a medieval coin brooch, harness loop, pretty button, broken fibula purse bar ( I think) strap end, stylus, watch winder, ammo, piece of plate, thimble, lead weight, buttons, Jetton, crusty roman, then my hammered, and last but not least… my gold stater … wow what a start to the year!! 🎉🥳 xx
