Silver/Birthstone and a Few Keeper Relic's Today.....
Today I went up to help my Brother move a couple piece's of furniture into his house.He live's just south of Gettysburg in a small town called Emittsburg(Md.)It's seen it's share of CW activity in the past,mostly troop movement to and from Gettysburg.He's seen one guy in the field behind his house metal detecting when he first moved in so we figured we give it a shot,I'm glad we did.Here's a few of the relic's I dug today.

A couple roundball's....One .36 and one that measure's around a .52 (real heavy sprue,might be earlier than CW,not sure)
My first thimble (brass).....second pic show's a little gold gilt at the very end
A whatsit ?....no thread's on it anywhere,any idea's

After the field we decided to hit a couple local park's just down the road,lot's of clad and the usual junk.....I did come away with one piece of Silver with a nice little chunk of Pink Tourmaline(I think) in it.Off and On about a three hour hunt.....
When we have some more time we'll go back and hit the field's behind his house,I'm sure there's more out there.Thank's for looking and HH!!
