Hey everyone so today my friend and I got out for half a day and didn't find too much at first just musket balls. Then I stumbled over a small area maybe a 5' X 5' area. That's where I was able to pull out these five beauties. They are a (1805 1 Reale) (1853 Seated Dime) (1830 Half) (1851 Half) and my (1856 Half) What a day! The 1856 S. Half is the first one i pulled out and my first half dollar ever and I'm happy with the amount of detail left! My pics can't fully capture that. My bud just found musketballs and other normal odds and ends. Thanks for looking and hope ya all had a good day!

What a great group a fine old silvers, your 1856 half is truly in extra fine condition. A mouth watering haul collected.

incredible score!, I really like the halfs, and that Spanish is sweet also, dare I say banner!

Wow, awesome day !!!! :occasion14:

I dream of pulling a plug and finding an old coin spill like the one you dug. Congrats on living the dream. Awesome coins. :occasion14:

That's a dream dig if there ever was one. Incredible find!

Wow! What a great group of coins! Congrats guys!

Wow, that is a day to remember always. Banner hunt!!Congrats!

This hoard must have been lost in 1856 or very shortly after! That 1856 half is nearly mint!
Pre-Civil war treasure, amazing! :notworthy:

That 56-s half is stellar...211,000 minted you may have a huge winner there...let alone everything else ...I'm sure we will see this on the best of TNET in the future! Great job there's more go back...go back NOW!!!

gaullllllllllllllllllllllieeeeeeeeeeeeeee ......nice coins.

That is some really magnificent pay dirt for seated silver .

That is one heck of a coin spill right there! It also shows how long the Spanish silver circulated along with US coins.

Great silver finds, & you picked one heck of a coin for your first Half.

Simply incredible! You just don't see too many seated half dollars. Congrats on a wonderful dig!

Beautiful! Shame that 1830 was holed--it's in great condition. Your half is in really great condition. What kind of site was it? Sounds more like an amazing pocket spill as opposed to a cache.

I thought the same thing.

Still a banner day!
