Yesterday i went to a buddy to hunt on one of his favorite fields. Its fresh disced and walking and digging is easy. The soil there is not that good for signals and after weeks with no rain things didnt get better. But these fields were known for finds from roman up to WWII. Yesterday proves that again. An other challenge is lots of junk because of flooding from the nearby river every year.
But here are the finds!
Starting with buttons German Military, 18th century, 16th century, Buckle 14th century, Brooch, cuff link, part of a german dog tag WWII, bowl lid 19th century i guess, two medieval finds, one handle of some kind and a whatsit with gild left.
The better things: Nice roman fibula 2-3th century
and a small figurine of the mother of god
And finally the silver: Knive handle, 20 Kreuzer coin 1764 in amazing condition exept the scratch from the plow
and the best of all a Denarius of Nero 54-68
