Silver for lunch

[Tony12100]

I asked a friend of mine if I could detect his yard. He told me that his wife found a small jar of mercury dimes in the front garden that he thinks his long gone grandmother buryed years ago. That had my attention. So at lunch time today I shot over and and worked the 30 30. Didn't find any hoards but did find in just one half of the yard 3 mercs, 2 silver rosy, 1 silver quarter, 1 1943 P war nick, 1 buffalo Nick, 1 1939 nick. A bunch of wheaties. Staving now because I didn't eat any lunch. I'll be hungry again tomorrow after lunch.

Wow, What a haul. You cleaned and still have more to go. Hard to beat a day with that much silver!!

Nice lunch break and really nice finds. Take a sammich next time. For silver like that, I'd be eating on the drive over or swinging and eating at the same time.
