Silver half and horse shoe?

Hello i was out detecting on friday behind my house (south shore mass) along side an old rock wall. Dug the big iron signal to see if it was anything that would help me date the area i was in and it was what i think is some sort of animal show but i never found one like that before. A few feet away i dug a 1894 half dollar. Went back to the same area ever day sense then with no luck besides a more modern pin thing

Nice finds. Congrats. I have never seen a shoe like that either and I was raised on a farm. Maybe it's not a shoe even though I see the nails? May have been before my time...

I think that's an orthopedic horseshoe.. a very rare one.
