It does have a silver look to it. Could also be lead or Perlite?

I'm thinking loellingite. It has that bright shiny appearance. Silver is generally dull grey or blackish. Loellingite is a great find if that's what it is.

General Location?

I have seen sylvanite like that here in Colorado. Sylvanite is very rich gold ore. What state you find this in?
