HI GUYS

Finally got my MATCH SAFE back.

Spent more than I wanted to ...prolly almost double what it is actually worth...but don,t care !!!!

These kinda finds do not come along everyday and will be safe in my case for a long time.

It is not a perfect job but they did the best they could without destroying it . The cover was in 3 pieces by the time I got it to them and am impressed that they actually got it back together and is in working condition.

The shine on the silver is very nice also.

So happy to have the matches ...nice added bonus. So I,m a happy detectorist !!

Hey my friend, I just nominated this as a "Banner". Totally unique and beautiful!

I know you have one already, but why not 2 (two)?

I hope others agree!

Glad you like it .... that is how I think of the piece also...UNIQUE.

That looks great buddy. I commend you for paying the money to get a special find spiffed up for the display case. You may need a bigger case the way this year has started

Hopefully I need a couple more ...... and no regrets spending the $ to get it fixed up.

Rick brought me a couple cases today when we went out for a hunt... was a beautiful day... the finds were scarce but a few nice things were found.

Can't beat a day out with your boys! You've got some great people up there. They've always been very helpful to this newb. One of the first things I ever dug was a beautiful brass heel plate. Almost didn't post it because I had no clue what it was :-) glad I did. Think it was one of the Scotia boys that straightened me out. Thinking bout getting a 15" NEL coil for my machine. You ever consider one for your F75? They say that coil really helps to stabilize those machines. Oh yeah, 2 or 3 inches of depth gain is nothing to sneeze at either

Absolutely beautiful.

Almost pulled rthe trigger last summer on getting one of them coils...read up on it and it says SHOULD get 2 inches extra depth ...but then reda more reviews and most were saying NO extra depth...just extra coverage over the ground.

Then got to thinking maybe it would be too heavy to swing....so decided against it. Extra $ was better spent on getting a good saltwater machine. Just my opinion of course.

Was probably IRON HORSE OR IRON PATCH who helped in your ID... them guys are a wealth of information !!!! They are maritimers also.

Off for another hunt now...sun is shiming and +3 !!!!! SWEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Will post when I get hone the days finds along with a couple finds from yesyterday.

Go get em buddy! Have a great day and good luck. The NEL is just under. 2 lbs. I'm not too concerned about that. And trust me I'd love to just pull the trigger on that CZ-21 but my gf manages a bank and it's not so easy to convince her that it's a "good" investment :-) I have heard from a couple guys on here that the NEL is deeper but the stability is maybe the bigger reason to consider it.

COOL...if you do get it let me know how you make out.

I had a field last summer that 80% of the coins were 8 inches + deep and had one at about 14 inches silver coin. So i was considering the bigger coil for that extra few inches of depth...thought maybe I was missing a few coins there...but 90% of coins everywhere else i went was 3-6 inches deep...dunno why that field was so different on depth.

Yeah I'm in the exact same situation. One huge site that devours stuff. Everything is super deep and there's some serious history so I'd love to know if I was in fact missing stuff. I'm pretty sure I prob am since mid 1800s coins are around a foot. So the 17th and 18th century stuff could be hiding below

My thoughts exactly...my coins there were mostly early-mid 1800s ...the soil has few rocks and is soft...must be why they are sinking faster than normal. he field is mowed for hay every year...so the grass decomposing isn,t building up the soil fast..just one of those things.

But ya...leaves ya wondering what your missing...only has to be a couple coins to pay for the coil or even better.

Yeah and I'm not good at thinking I'm leaving something behind. Could be an inch away from the find of a lifetime. Think I'll spend a few hundo and find out

Congratulations! Nice find!
