Silver pocket watch from old horse track

[bergie]

I had posted a couple of weeks ago finds from the old horse race track and mentioned I had found then misplaced the silver pocket watch I found. Well I went through my car and sure enough I found it. Here it is. Not sure if it's real silver or silver colored. It gave me a silver reading on my detector... the other side is just the empty face so I didn't bother photographing that side. There is no writing on it. Pretty cool to find one that isn't all dull and ruined like most of them.

Let me get this right. You found a long
lost watch in the ground and lost it in
your car? Now THAT is a good story! LMAO

Bergie,
Great watch find. Congrats. All I ever find is pieces of old watches.
Can you post a picture of it opened when you have time? (no pun intended)

Thanks. That's the back. The front is missing, just empty space where the face was.
