I personally wouldn't be a buyer at that price, but its probably a pretty fair price. Its not a bargain IMO, but not horribly overpriced either. Melt value is about $6.40 as I type this.

With Silver at $35.31, they have a melt value of $6.3857. I would make sure they are actually 90% silver and not just "silver" color.

$7+tax is around $7.50. silver is at $35.52 and a silver quarter is $6.42... If you're doing it for an investment, you will break even if silver reaches $41.50... Personally I wouldn't bother.

So far a real "proof", "S" mint, protected coin has more value to a collector than melt value. I don't know how long that will last though. Give someone enough money and they would melt anything.
