A real head scratcher. With the club and the spade represented on the piece, one would think it's related to the old Silver Slipper casino in Vegas, but I can find no relation to it myself. It looks as if there may have been a word above the "society" but the enamel is missing. I think I see what may be the bottom of an E or similar letter on the right above the T and the Y in society, or I may just be seeing things. Did you find this piece in Japan? No markings on the back I presume? What is the actual size of it anyway?

Its about 3cm X 3cm. No markings on the back, nor any obvious shanks or attachment marks on the back that would indicate it was a badge or pin at one time. I also re-examined the word "Society" but could not find any letters above it. Strange eh?

I thought I saw one of these identified on Tnet last year. But I don't remember what it was. Sorry...
