Hi all i went back to my little area today didn't find to much more but i did manage to find some sort of sterling silver thing ??? another watch back ,a half of a old compact and some thing i have no clue what it is ! LOL ;D
The watch back has a very nice scene with houses and waves on it although you can't tell ! It looks better in person.

Silverware usually isn't mark sterling with the markers mark on both sides. Its very thin and can be bent very easily even by a child.Plus the one side never had anything attached to it.Its a open hole big enough for a womans slim cigarette. Its hollow too.

Reddie, that's the first time someone has had something good to say about my interest in the 20's. My girlfriend says I'm old man trapped inside a young man's body. I like the 20's thru the 40's. I collect 78 RPM records from the 20's and can't resist a gangster flick. Xm radio plays 20's music on the 40's channel at certain times. Too kewl. The flapper girls are hot. Standing Liberty quarters, mercury head dimes, buffalo nickels, walkers etc. and a roaring economy, good times!! ;)

Reddielocks-I found an old letter opener that has a silver handle that looks a little like that. Could it be that? Only the handle is silver, the rest is badly rusted.

Like the finds and a neat silver what ever it is. ;D ;D ;D Nice job on the post.

I like the 1860's through the early 1930's .I would say the guys were pretty hot back then in their suits and ties and their dapper hair ! :-* no TV and computers back then so they would take long walks in the park :) and throw lovely bottles in the creeks and river for me to find ! ;D Also they would lose all their pocket money while sitting under a big tree having a picnic so i could come along 100 + years later to retrieve it ! ;D
