I tried to boost my totals but only added one 40%er yesterday and nothing more today. So from my first two weeks CRHing I got

gman, your 1940 British half crown weighs 14.14g and is .500 silver. They were .500 silver from 1920 - 1946 and .925 silver before that. Very nice find !

(I also collect pre-decimal British coins)

I would use google to determine the silver in your 1897 Norwegian 50 ore coin.

GMan's Norwegian 1897 50 ore is 60% silver content (that's 5 grams, or .0964 oz.)

Slightly above average for August -

More importantly in August I topped 365 silver coins so far this year, or more than one a day.
